The Earth's atmosphere is a mixture of gases. Most people refer to it as air. It is 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 0.9 % Argon, 0.03 Carbon Dioxide, and the remaining elements are trace elements.
The highest recorded temperature was 70.7 degrees Celsius in Iran (2005). The lowest recorded temperature in Antarctica was -89.2 degrees Celsius.
